Terms of Use
Last updated: May 19, 2026
These Terms of Use explain the rules for using Case Room, an AI-led case interview practice service. By creating an account, starting a case, buying credits, or otherwise using Case Room, you agree to these terms.
This page is written as a plain-English launch draft so users can understand the product rules. It should be reviewed by counsel before being treated as final legal terms.
1. The service
Case Room provides realistic case interview practice, voice-based interview simulations, case materials, transcripts, recordings, and scorecards. The service is designed for preparation and learning. It does not provide recruiting, employment, admissions, legal, financial, or professional advice.
Case Room may change, pause, remove, or improve parts of the service over time, including available cases, attempt limits, scoring methods, pricing, and AI provider configuration.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You are responsible for the information you provide when creating an account and for keeping your login credentials secure. If you believe someone has accessed your account without permission, contact us promptly.
You may use Case Room only if you can form a binding agreement under applicable law. The service is not directed to children under 13, and users under the age of majority should use it only with permission from a parent or guardian.
3. Practice sessions and AI output
Case Room uses AI systems and third-party providers to conduct interviews, transcribe speech, generate interviewer responses, synthesize voice playback, and produce feedback. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or inconsistent. You should use your own judgment when relying on practice feedback.
Case Room does not guarantee any interview result, job offer, admission, recruiting outcome, score improvement, or performance in a real interview. Your results depend on many factors outside the service.
4. Credits, purchases, and refunds
Case Room may sell credits that unlock access to paid cases. Prices, credit bundles, and any available promotions are shown at checkout. Credits have no cash value, are not a stored-value account, and cannot be transferred, resold, exchanged, or redeemed for cash except where required by law.
An unlocked case may include a limited number of attempts. Starting an attempt may count against that limit even if you do not complete the session. Case availability, attempt limits, and credit rules may vary by case or account state.
Unless required by law or approved by Case Room in a specific case, purchases are non-refundable. If you believe there was an error with a purchase or credit balance, contact rohit@caseroomprep.com.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Case Room or interfere with the service. This includes attempts to bypass access controls, scrape or mass-export content, reverse engineer private systems, overload infrastructure, probe security, use another person's account, or use the service for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive purposes.
You also agree not to submit content that infringes someone else's rights, contains highly sensitive personal information that is not needed for case practice, or includes confidential information you are not allowed to share.
6. Content and intellectual property
Case Room and its licensors own the service, brand, case materials, page designs, prompts, software, scorecard formats, and other product content. These terms do not transfer ownership of Case Room intellectual property to you.
You keep ownership of content you submit, such as spoken responses, typed responses, and support messages. You give Case Room a limited license to host, process, transcribe, analyze, display, and otherwise use that content as needed to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
7. Availability and termination
Case Room is provided as an online service and may be unavailable from time to time because of maintenance, third-party provider issues, network problems, product changes, or other operational reasons.
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these terms, created risk for the service or other users, or used the product in a way that could cause legal, security, or operational harm. You may stop using the service at any time.
8. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Case Room is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or fit for a particular outcome.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Case Room will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, or business interruption arising from or related to the service.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Case Room's total liability for claims related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to Case Room for the service giving rise to the claim during the three months before the event giving rise to liability, or $100 if you paid nothing.
10. Governing law
These terms use a US-oriented draft governing-law approach. Unless a different rule is required by applicable consumer law, these terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
This governing-law clause should be confirmed by counsel once Case Room's final operating entity, address, and launch jurisdictions are set.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product, law, or business changes. If an update is material, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice, such as updating the date on this page or showing a notice in the product. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
